The choice for this SpirePets Scratching post with house and large lying surface was not random. I had been looking for a while specifically for a somewhat 'more compact scratching post' that is not very high and has an extra large lying surface. One that is sturdy, and easy to move around the house, and to take with you when they go to stay for example.
Maya and Luzy come from the same litter (July 2023), grew up together, and have been sleeping and cuddling against each other since they were little. Now they are almost fully grown and on their old scratching post from Feandrea, they could no longer lie against each other. They still did that in other places in the house, but now they have a new favorite spot on the scratching furniture from SpirePets, where they can relax together!
The combination of a large lying surface, a cozy house, a scratching post, and the presence of a toy makes this scratching post ideal for my playful cats. Moreover, the stability played a big role in my decision. I wanted to be sure that the scratching post would remain stable, even during the most energetic play sessions of my cats.
